well my mom is like really mean sometimes im jeleous of my friends bcause their moms are really nice i mean all of my friends work n drive while i don even work because she doesnt let me and im sick of my friend picking me up and lendin me money becuase my friends r also gettin sick of it i already own hem like 100 bucks all together what can i do?!

are you sure that youre the only one doing chores?

or is the only thing you see?

maybe she does more chores than you do and you just dont see it because you (sorry to say this) think about yourself and not the welfare of others

talk to her in a nice way, sit, have a cup of coffee or something just dont argue because that just doesnt solve anything and

show her than you are independent

you are old enough and responsible enough to get a job of your own

ask her questions that are not over the limit

something like mom why wont you let me live on my own

or dont take thist the wrong but how come i cant have a job?

she should have a good reason for doing those things

does sound like a control freak try doing odd jobs like cutting peoples grass and skimp out on certain chores c if she notices and do them rarly or half *** everything she does seem like a control freak though and ur bros a puss hes 21 and still doing what she says im 19 and im long gone from my parents if worse comes 2 worse as ur bro if u can move in with him when his balls finally drop

Your mother doesn't "let" your older brother move out? Is he finished with college? Has he a job (which will pay for his expenses). Who's exactly stopping him from moving out?

Anyway, about you. I assume that she is that way, very strict. You didn't say one word about how she feels about you--does she hate you? or does she love you?

Is there another adult (your brother unfortunately does not count because his voice is not heard) in the house? Is she a single parent? It's tough, you know, to be one. So she's very strict--and doesn't want to let her kids leave the nest.

Not much you can do without an adult's help. An uncle? An aunt? Your grandparents? You might be so young to get a job after school (and she might not let you). So life is a bit difficult now, you may have to put up with it a little more. What you should do is focus on school (yeah, yeah, yeah, you said), so when you're finished with college, you can have a job that pays well enough you can move out.

That's what a lot of teenagers think daily. Really.
