Why is my car idoling high?

i have a 93 mazda and it's idoled high when i start it for a few minutes but now it doesn't idol less than 2,000 rpm's even when it's been running for a while and i don't know why.

  1. Things to Check; Bad EGR Valve, Vacuum Leak (Minor), Dirty IAC (Idle Air Control), Sticking/Dirty or loose Throttle Linkage.
