Question:

Why is technology taking over romance?

I am only 16 and i just wondered how things were when internet wasnt that popular and texting and e-mail barely came in use....by this i mean how romance was...now if you like a guy or a guy likes you ... you can hide behind technology and tell them....i just feel like that is pathetic what do you guys think?

  1. Tech. can be a good thing but some people use it for everything, asking out, breaking up, it's taking the place of doing things face to face. Now you can email and text anything without saying it face to face where you might have to explain yourself or put more effort into things if you didn't have a computer or cell phone. It's up to you in your relationship how you want to handle it if you like things more personal just don't respond to the tech romances. Tell the guy you rather meet up to talk and only use the phone to make plans. I totally see what your saying though.


  2. What? You don't have to hide behind anything if you need to express your feelings to somebody. Internet is great. I was away working abroad for over a month and could talk to my boyfriend any time I wanted and see him over the web cam. What's the problem? It's always your choice what to do and how to live, don't blame it on technology.
