Why is the Hills still on?

I've only seen clips of this show, but everytime I do I feel like my IQ goes down. Is there actually a reason people watch this show?

I'm entertained by the fake-ness of the show, how unreal it is. It gets interesting to see how every girl has a different job, house, guy, ect.. every week.haha

it can get really boring though.

Beats me...I'm guessing because MTV really needs channel views. I watched one second of it, and it was very boring, and staged.

Got me. I caught part of the show once and it seemed almost painfully staged. Boring.
