Why is this in my water?

calcium chloride and sodium bicarbonate in safeway refreshe drinking water.. shouldnt there be nothing in my water? the sodium bicarbonate says it adds an insignificant amount of sodium...

there are trace amounts of types of salt in your water. sometimes they are added for flavor, but i've heard rumors that they are aimed to make you thirsty still even after you finish your water.

you can look for other brands with no additives, but the best way is to buy yourself one of those pitcher style filters that you can fill and then shove in the fridge.

these add a minute amount of minerals -just like tap water.  save your money next time.
