Or reptiles and spiders too? I mean I know I've heard stories about people's pets as ghost. But why not other animals too? Like a ghost lion or dinosaur. h**l while we're at it why not ghost aliens?

It just seems to me that if there are ghosts of people there should be ghosts of other animals too. Which unless ghost also die at some point, would mean the after life could be full of bugs.

  1. hey dude, that's pretty slick! if a mind is that powerful then maybe "they" do have us fully dooped.

  2. It is pretty obvious that Jonquill does not know much about GH. As for a beliver like yourself, I understand the skeptical side, I am way more skeptical than you, if you are attempting to be humorous or intresting, you failed. If you would have mentioned the Romans or Greeks I would have actually thought about it.

There is two types of hauntings and two possible explanations, residual and intelligent, assuming you know the difference.

If residual is possible, anything , living or material, could be a part of a haunting. Some weird connection between times, like parallel universes or surviving non-living energy that we do not understand. If an intelligent haunting, which I have experienced, is possible, this means life after death. This could only lead to one conclusion, your *** better get to church.

  3. This is one of (the many) reasons I don't think ghosts exist objectively in this world.  It seems people who see them always see versions that are consistent with their cultural understanding or expectations of the world.  People don't consider dinos, insects, Native Americans, etc. when considering the spirit life, so it's not something they see.

EDIT: It's funny that rather than consider the possibility there are as many types of ghosts as there are people who see them--and the significance of such a possibility--believers use a sort of apologetics to define the different types of ghosts that have been reported.  it reminds me of the ufologists defining 60 different alien species.

  4. That could be an interesting experiment, have a few episodes of  Ghost Hunters etc featuring ghost cows, lizards and rabbits and see if there was a sudden increase in the reported sightings of those sort of spirit animals.

  5. It's an excellent question. Seems to me that a cattle meat processing plant would be a prime place to hunt for bovine ghosts. Think of all the cow deaths that happen there. I guess someone could raise a religious objection that animals don't have souls, but neither does fabric, and people report human ghosts wearing clothes all the time.
