Why........?

Are people dedicating big events like red nose day, children in need, comic releif, sport releif e.c.t to kids, but there is nothing for soldiers or war veterans?

Im just watching sport releif and i thought 'its a good cause , but what about the other poeple, who without them, we would not be here today, and if we were, we would probobaly be all n***s or have our country flooded with asylum seekers'

i really think that instead of giving the millions of pounds to families who have enough to keep thier families alive, that we give some of the money to war veterans who, because of the british government have a choice of heating, food or water each week.

They have it much more harder then these children and they desrve a d**n sight more respect.

I don't want the children to get nothing, but some of the money from these events should go to soldiers. The only thing war people have is poppy day, for one day a year.

  1. Rememberance Day? You know, all those poppies that people wear every single year? The cenotaph? No?

  2. Thats not entirely true the RNA donate thousands for soldiers, war veterans, widows and people with many types of trouble, they just don't make a big issue out of it.

  3. erm some of those African children dont even have a roof over their heads, have a heart!

The British Legion does a good job, and there are plenty of other ex military charities.

At the end of the day theres only so much money to go round and everyone thinks their charity is more worthwhile than the next......

  4. I contribute to the RAF Benevolent fund - it helps retired servicemen when they get into difficulties

  5. Oh boy !! you really are a charitable person aren't ya.

Soldiers get paid to fight other peoples wars and know exactly what they are getting into (there is no conscription anymore) and as a result of their governments actions many innocent children and their familes die, lose their homes and do not have enough to eat - it is not the children's fault.

  6. I made a donation today.
