Why should i recycle?

Why should I be motivated to recycle? Why don't people recycle more often? What do you think about recycling?

Recycling helps eliminate waste, which in return reduces the amount of trash in our landfills. Our landfills are already overflowing, so if we reuse and recycle items we can stop the pollution from invading our water, land and air.

because it helps the environment. I don't litter but I saw my dad threw his apple out of the car window today. I recycle. have two recycle bins put one for bottles cans, and plastic containers. used the other one for boxes and newspaper. Recycle reduces less waste. good luck.

Well, you definitely should recycle because it helps the environment. A plastic bottle you used can be used as another thing then just getting thrown out in open land.

i think our world is going to go on its end sooner than it should. all of that is because of us,but recycling helps our world all around.most people dont recycle, because either they're too lazy,or they dont want to do it,. there may be other reasons but i think if we put those reasons aside our world could become a little better.(enviroment wise anyways.)

It helps the environment because we waste less land for landfills and we don't have to cut down as many forests for paper and stuff.

Also it helps the economy-the companies don't have to spend money producing the packaging and stuff.  Imagine how much we could save if all packaging..... came from recycled materials.

Some people don't recycle because they re too lazy and don't care about the environment/other people.

It would be better to not consume disposeable goods in the first place rather than worry about what to do with them after you're done. I don't blame you, we live in a very disposeable culture, but still. Recycling is sort of a last option, after reducing the stuff that you do use, reuseing what you are able to, and then finally recycling or composting what can't be utilized.

Personally, I do not recycle. But its better for the environment. If we recycle things such as plastic bottles and newspaper, they can be recycled and reused. This cuts down the use of trees. More people do not recycle because its something we're not used to. Its something you have to start and get used to doing.
