There are so many reasons to go (art, history, culture, food) not to mention the monuments and the many beautiful chateaux,  there are not many reasons not to visit, to be honest.

Otherwise, the historical monuments and museums in Paris, The rest of the country is so diverse it feels like 8 or 10 different countries.

The way of life, the food, the sea, the mountains....
