  1. The heat is unbearable and add to it the stink and stench of having to sit so close to another sweaty human being who may or may not be hygiene conscious and there's your answer.

  2. It's Miami. It's a football town and basketball (when they are winning). But it's all about The U and Dolphins in Miami. Baseball is just something that's available.

  3. i dont know, i will never know.  Not only is it a fantastic team with great young talent who seems to always have a winning record, they have won 2 world series' in recent years.  It doesnt make much sense to me but maybe someone else has a good reason for it.

  4. It's a small market team.

  5. GO MARLINS

the reason why they dont get alot of attendence is because florida is very hot and humid, as well as many of the people in florida consist of the elderly and hispanic people who just party.  my uncle lives there and if i lived there i would be at the games all the time because i like the hot weather and i am obsessed with the marlins.

GO MARLINS AND AS MUCH AS I LUV YA...YOU HAVE TO STEP IN UP HAN RAM

    MARLINS >PHILS AND METS

  6. 1. They play in a football stadium.

    2. Half the population in Florida is senior citizens who don't go to baseball games.

    3. The other half of the population in Florida is people from New York, so they are Mets and Yankees fans.

  7. the ownership is to cheap they were asking the red sox for 2 more million for manny to be on there team. There just cheapskates

  8. The heat is unbearable, the weather is unpredictable; too many rain delays, the stadium is not baseball friendly. The ownership has also put this burden of fire sales on this franchise which makes most Marlins fans angry and unloyal. The only way this team can get higher attendance is by getting the stadium deal done and expanding payroll to keep their good players, yes this would mean that Loria would have to sell this team because he can't keep talent and he is cheap.
