Why the Publix was so successful?

I went to every Publix in Florida. I found out there are so many people come into there market everyday!! I can not figure out why there method is better than the Walmart?

Why would you think the Publix method is better than Walmart?  Walmart is the #1 retail FOOD chain in the united states.  Nobody else is even close any more.  Walmart probably sells more groceries in 10 minutes that Publix does all year.

Publix is a Florida company.  They pride themselves in outstanding service, but that comes with a price.  I lived in Florida for 10 years and almost never shopped at Publix because their prices were 10% or more higher than any other grocery store.  The elderly folks liked them, though.  I do remember that.
