  1. Umm, could you be more specific, please?  Tolerance of what?  Other races?  Other nationalities?  Tolerance of sin?  Of evil?

I really dislike these vague generalities, which are a waste of time.

  2. tolerance is the first step to the peace. Try to understand people around u better. Avoid to hurt people physically or mentally. Just try to think if u at their place. Don't just think about urself....

  3. Tolerance is only the beginning, we need acceptance and celebration of similarities and differences.

There are many great FREE resources here:

  4. Tolerance helps us to be more accepting of one another and to help make the world (or our small part of it) peaceful. We don't have to like nor accept everything but to allow beliefs and learning there could be less hate maybe.

  5. not everything is done in a snapp

  6. The world needs tolerance is a joke. Every human on this planet is not going to get along with everyone else. I don't get along with my family even. Who wants to merely be tolerated?

Personalities are different. What we need is a unified acceptance. I'm me, you're you, this is why we're different. Understanding our humanity, and the differences it brings will lead to love. Which, untainted love results in being supportive of the good, honest about the bad, and helpful to produce change if wanted and skip happily through life.

That goes for ourselves, as well as others.

  7. because tolerance can lead to acceptance which could lead to loving and peaceful thoughts towards everyone.  Wouldn't that be wonderful??

  8. The idea is that tolerance keeps peace. Keep in mind that tolerance means to put up with, not accept.  It's the idea that I might not like or approve of what you're doing, but I'm not going to bad-mouth you about it, either.  Many people believe this isn't enough, but agree that it's a beginning.

  9. Tolerance is merely putting up with another person and/or specific beliefs.  I would attempt to promote acceptance because this idea is more about letting go of your ideals and being okay with the fact that other people have the right to have a different perspective.
