That's a good question. Why do I like cricket?

I guess, it started out because I was bored in the summer when there was no football. And as things have progressed, I have fallen in love with this most elegant sport.

I love the atmosphere's you can get, the people who play it, the statistics involved. I love how people can devote their life to it, and no matter what time of year it is, England will be playing. And for some reason, I'll always be attempting to watch/listen, even if I have school the next day...

It makes me happy.

Seriously, nearly everything about the game makes me smile. I love the history of it, the tradition, the rules, the players/teams, the different fans (even when they say something I might not agree with I'll still respect their opinion), I even like the politics of it all.

The sound the ball makes when it hits the bat is like music. The whole game of cricket is like a symphony and there is no sport better.
