Why was the mazdaspeed6 discontinued?

Specifically were there reliability problems? I'm thinking of getting one but I don't want the engine to blow out on me or anything

bcoz it was discontinued .... 2008 the speed6 was discontinued bcoz for the plan of the 2009 6 . maybe it will return in 2009

no major problem's in the MS6, it just wasnt a big hit as the mazda speed 3 or even the 1st mazdaspeed, protege

not sure, i think it wasnt selling because it was around the same performance as the speed3, but the speed6 was more money. check out the 2009-2010 mazda6 concept. it looks sweet!
