  1. Some roaches may die, but others have an ability to become immune to the sprays being used. The ones that're immune to the poison survive and pass on their genes to the next generation.

  2. I'm pretty sure they dont have a heart. Each individual cell makes it live. If only a tiny part of the body wasn't sliced up, it would still be alive. I think that is why they can survive while missing many essential body parts.

  3. they do die. if u take off their head, they can live for 3 days b/c they die of hunger. they take in their air thro their "skin". it just seems like they never die. they can live thro a lot of nuclear ebergy. the mythbusters tested it. they continued to live, tho a couple died. just try to completely squash it. remove its head just to make sure.

  4. spray its whole body or just step on the little pest.

  5. When I was little i caught alot of roaches when we were BBQing ang when the bbq was over i tossed them all in the fire o__o; Im sure they would die that way
