  1. Just use this simple guidelines.

Start Then run and type cmd.

    Then type ipconfig /flushdns

    Type again ipconfig /release

    Type again ipconfig /renew

    Then you will be connected

    Good luck

  2. Before you go and replace.  Unplug the Belkin for a few seconds and plug it back in.  This usually fixes it for the connection to the modem to the router, and then computers to the router are fine.

The wireless connnction to your computer/laptop is less interrupted by placing the router in a good place to reduce interference.  Move antenea.

  3. Never been a fan of belkin.  Try spending $40.00 and get a d-link wireless router.  You can get their base model wireless router very cheap, and with most ISP's it works out of the box without installing unwanted software.

  4. I am probably not the best guy to answer this question.  I suspect that your router has stopped communicating with your modem.  The same thing happened to me last week  After a day on the phone with my ISP's help line, I replaced the router with a new "Gateway" which combines the router and modem in one unit.  The ISP will bill me an extra $1.50 a month for the new unit.
