  1. MalwareBytes AntiMalware can remove this rogue program

    - Update and Scan

  2. try doing a scan wid a good antivirus

  3. Panda.com

  4. Probably not. You can remove it by checking this links:

  5. If you deleted the folders where the AV program resided, then most of the AV files are gone.  Unfortunately, the AV program probably put files in other places like the \Windows\System32 folder.  Also, the Windows registry entries for the program are still there.

To completely uninstall the AV software, re-install it again and then uninstall it properly by using the program's 'Uninstall' program or go into Control Panel and select 'Add or Remove Programs.'

  6. Well, yes and no.

You should have done the uninstall first, than removed what ever folders were left.  You may still have some "hidden files" around because you did in reverse order.

No one can run the program after what you did, so technically it is gone, and should not interfere with any other programs.

If you have the disk, I would re install it, than use add and remove, than delete the folders for a "clean" removal.

If in fact you did add/remove first, than removed all of the folders, it is gone.
