  1. the first one looks healthier

    and prettttttttty (:

  2. I dont know that much about horses, but i like the second one better. Paints have always been my favorite kind.

    Both are pretty, though.

    :)

  3. second

the first is built down hill meaning his rump is higher then the withers, and he just didn'thave a real pretty face.

and he had a longish back.

  4. #2!! Beautiful horse!

  5. I like both.  The bay looks like there is a toe-in on the left hind, just in the pastern to the hoof, but it could be the way he is standing?  They both have nice hooves.  The pinto may be toed out in back, but I can't tell because of the way he is standing.  They are both pretty and have nice, gentle expressions.  I like the halter and lead you are using on the bay.....I use the same type of rig on mine.  They look like nice and sturdy horses with nice dispositions and pretty heads.

ADD....I don't agree with the poster who says they are underweight....they are at the right weight....horses should not be fattened up the way some people like them....this is healthier all the way around.

    To GOODD...You don't have a clue.

  6. It matters on how good they are, if they have no special needs, ever go injured, etc. Not on how "pretty" they are.

The first one looks healthier and calmer.

  7. #2  for sure.

  8. i like both but number 2

  9. i love the second one, its more unique

  10. i would chose pippin

  11. Sorry but those pictures aren't exactly any good when judging conformation.

That second horse is probably gorgeous when it's not all muddy! =P But hey, I'm a sucker for paints!

Oh, and horses can't be 14.9 hands high. :)

  12. conformation wise? the second one. somethings a little off with his back legs, in the snow/ice picture, or maybe its just the snow or ice. but then he's wearing weird boots in the other pictures. so if you are planning to purchase one of these two horses, defiantly get a vet check on the second if you like him.

  13. second...though if u got him hed need alot of cleaning up

  14. I think the second is better judging from the photos which aren't really the best type to judge build by.

Either way way they both look like nice horses and you are lucky.

What are the boots on the second horse ? What are they supposed to do ?

  15. I like Pippin the best very pretty:D!! But they are both very pretty horses!!

    P.S. A horse can't be 14.9hh it goes like: 14hh 14.1hh 14.2hh 14.3hh 15hh 15.1hh ect

  16. First off those are all horrible photos for judging conformation. The ideal photos would be straight from both sides and straight from the front and rear. This will help determine things like sickle hocks, cow hocks, pidgeon toes, ewe neck, high withers, etc.

The first horse looks very unhealthy and disproportionate. The second one is also disproportionate with a small head and high set neck on a very large body. I can't tell much other than that.

Since the first horse has scars all over his/her back and has a head like a mule, a thin neck and horrible pictures I don't think anyone can say anything other than the second horse is prettier.

  17. "...about 14.9 hands high..."??   seems to be 16.1h,  in normal measurements?

None of these snaps shows either horse to an advantage.  The first one seems to have the better head, throatlatch and neck.

The second (paint) could use a hundred or so pounds.  It'd be a toss up.

It's conFORMation, conFIRMation is for reservations and religious ceremony.
