Wicked cancellation ticket prices?

My friend went to see "Wicked" on Broadway a few weeks ago, on a Sunday afternoon, and ended up getting in a lengthy cancellation line and got fourth row seats for $40 each. I went a few weeks later, on a Sunday afternoon, and was asked to pay $125 for 15th row. Any ideas why this might have happened?

Your friend may have used a discount, which would reduce the ticket price.

$125 is the regular  price, and at the box office they want to resell all the tickets that have been cancelled so after awhile the prices drop periodically.
