Wierd Yellow Cocoon or Fungus??

Question

Yesterday I noticed a little yellow stuff on the windowsil of our screened in back porch. This morning it has grown quite alot and has formed into 2 half circles on each side of the screen and it has moved up the screen!

It is bright yellow and looks soft.

Could be a slime mould. They are weird organisms made up of lots of tiny amoebae that sometimes join together into a thing like a slug or pile of goo, which then moves around!
