Wierd question. and i need help?

if i want a cd that is i think is $10.00 (9.99) and another cd which is like $13.99. how much would the tax be on them its new jersey sale tax which is obviously 7%

23.98*.07=1.6786  round to 1.68

23.98+1.68=25.66
