  1. They will beat Ireland, but wont be the next rugby power

  2. Well, considering that Argentina has never been better, Ireland has never been worse, and that the Pumas had beaten them 5 consecutive times, yes.

  3. If Ireland continue playing the style of game that they did against France, then the answer is yes......Ireland  wasted far too much ball ,kicking it away, they are suited better to the running game.

No,Argentina won`t be, at least, not while they keep playing their Rugby in the Northern Hemesphere competitions.

If they were to play in the South,in an expanded Super 14 type comp. then yes , eventually, they could be second ,behind NZ.

  4. The Pumas will win and this year  are going to win the world CUP.

  5. hopefully

  6. Argentina's on fire, I think so.

  7. Argentina will probably beat Ireland but I can't see them stuffing them. Argentina are good but they're not a particularly high scoring team.

  8. The way Argentina are heading they should definitely topple Ireland. Irelands moral will be low, Argentina's high, plus they're playing fabulous rugby at the moment, so yes, I believe Ireland will not have the luck of the Irish in this game. Sad, but true. Argentina new world power in rugby . . . well if they can beat SA in the semis then shite, who knows. But really, they'd still have to get past the ABs and that's just not going to happen. Not this world cup anyway.

  9. I hope not, but think so :o(

  10. More than likely.

  11. yes and no

  12. i not sure. there might be a performance in our side yet!

  13. The games I have watched...........every single one, Argentina have grown and improved with the tournament whilst the Irish have fallen apart.

On saying that, never underestimate the Irish, they may come out with guns blazing!

Should be a good and entertaining game as both NEED to win!

  14. it depends on how well ireland play

during the 6 nations ireland smashed england and italy

2 teams with superior packs just like argentina

    anything is possible

  15. Heck yes I am a huge Argentina fan, and Ireland doesnt have the defense or the toughness to take down ARGENTINA

  16. No

  17. im a glutton for punishment. i dont think arg will "stuff" ireland. ireland can beat argentina. the pressure is off ireland. nobody believes in them anymore and i think they will pull it out of the bag. ire- 24. arg- 15.

oh that is if ireland score first infirst 10 minutes. if the argys get ahead were f**k ED

  18. 12 pointer victory.

  19. I'm hoping they dont, last week was disappointing/embarrassing enough...

  20. hope so. i will give the irish the same amount of support they give the english.

  21. Well they are world number 4 at the moment. I do think that the Pumas will beat Ireland, as I cannot see the Irish beating them or scoring the 4 tries as well as winning the game which is what they need to do.

As to being a future world force in rugby union, I think it would universally agreed that there is a big drop between number 3 in the world to number 4.

Argentina will be like Scotland Wales and Ireland and have the occasional generation where their team achieves greatness, only to disappear for 5 - 10 years.

The only countries able to maintain dynasties of squads are the All Blacks, Wallabies and Springboks. England & France are re-asserting themselves, but it will take time.

  22. h**l yeah

  23. I sincerely hope so. The Pumas's only chance for progress is the world cup once every 4 years because they don't play the six nations and, for unexplainable reasons, they have been sistematically denied to join the tri nations by the IRB. The irish are the ones to blame for that decision because it is the irish federation that has been the only one to block Argentina's bid to join the six nations (all their players play in France and England so they could join the six nations without any problems). Despite all of that, Argentina has managed to achieve more in less than 10 years than all the other teams in world rugby because 10 years ago they were at the same level as Italy or Romania and now they are fourth of the IRB ranking and better than huge teams like England or France. All that was achieved without any money and without any outside help or international tournaments. That's called having BALLS.

And now it's pay back time, especially against the irish for  the way they try to prevent us from growing. On top of that, I don't forget how they mocked us after knocking us out from the 2003 world cup by 1 point. Now it's our turn to kick them out (like we did in 1999) and celebrate in their face.
