Will Motrin interact with Percocet?

I have been taking motrin for the whole day cuz of a fever ive had because of withdraw from quitting smoking weed. and i was planning on taking 2 percocet 5mg. with my friend. will i die or something like that because i mixed 2 medicins, or maby O.D. on Acetaminophen (A.K.A Tylenol)

Percocet is oxycodone(sp?) and acetaminophen, however it is normally a 5mg oxycdne to 325 mg actmnphn dose if you are taken 5 mg's of oxycodone, so are you taking percocet or just the oxycodone--> now referred to as OX. If you are taking just the OX then it should be fine with the motrin (which is ibprofun(sp?)) but if it percocet, it has acetaminophen in it. Studies have shown that mixing ibprofun and acet.. is okay, but a slight stress on your system due to the large amount of chemicals in your bloodstream, but there hasn't been much on mixing the three, its not a common thing to do.

So, will you be okay?

Should you do it,

     probably not.

Why?

     it's not a common drug mix and since it may be harmful, and your friend will be high, it may be tough to get you to a doctor, who in turn will be unpleased you were taking OX (which is EXTREMELY habit forming..)

There is no contraindication between taking Motrin (ibuprofen) and Percocet APAP (oxycodone/acetaminophen). So you'll be fine.

No you won't die, and your full of sh*t about weed withdrawls, no such thing, If you really think you were physically "addicted" to weed then you don't want to f*ck with opiates, they are as addicting as they come and will actually cause withdrawls after just a couple of days use, I had a nasty drug shock when I stopped popping Tylenol 3s and Percocets my senior year, anything I put in my guts would promptly leave 25 minutes later, almost on cue for almost 2 days
