Will Target hire me?

I'm 18 and have been searching for a job. I've applied to 3 places so far (Barnes and Noble, Borders, and Shop Rite). None of them have called me back, which annoys me because I really need a job. I offered to work at least 5 days a week... and between 5-8 hours a day. However, I don't have any previous work experience besides babysitting, but hey I have to start somewhere!

Is Target picky with who they hire? Or do you think they would hire me? I mean, I'm a good worker when it comes to school work, my grades are excellent, I've gotten a bunch of awards for doing so well in school. That's all I have to show though... my good grades and my awards for those good grades... and babysitting.

So what do you guys think? What's Target like when they look over applications?

Yes, Target will hire you......IF the store you apply at is currently hiring. I am a manager for Target. Go to store and apply at the computer kiosk, then ask to speak to a LOD (Leader on Duty). Most of the time Target is looking for people who can work anytime on weekends and several evenings during the week. GOOD LUCK!!!
