THey have 'apparently' been signed up for at least 7 (asked to do up to 3 the day after release of the first, up to 7 agreed after release of third) although there are talks about this turning into a really long series of films (13is a number I have heard mention) luckily it doesn't seem to be losing any of it's awesome plot and replacing it with more gore as usually happens in sequels

SAW V coming out on November 24 (the weekend before halloween)

but...

it comes out on the same weekend as High School Musical 3 which is a bummer, if it doesn't make number 1 in the box office that weekend i swear i'll rip zac effron's head right off!!!

Yeah...

the guy said he would continue making them until they got as old as the "Nightmare on Elm Streets" and "Friday the 13s". So we might just see a Jigsaw in space! (lol I hope not)

It comes out near Halloween, i think the 24?... the same date as the previous releases...and they will continue to be released on that same date every year.
