  1. Only in the head. It's not enough if hit in the chest. Why no get a real gun? Do you live in police state UK? Or are you just not of age yet?

  2. Yep, if ya hit it in the head. Why not just use a 22 though?

They do make air rifles with better muzzle velocity too. If you are going to be trying to use it for hunting why not find one with more zip if you arent going to get a 22LR? Just a suggestion. 90% of hunting is being ethical, humane and safe.

  3. No it is cruel and inhumane.* Use a 22 L.R. hollow point.*

  4. Yes, a .22 caliber airgun will kill a woodchuck. It will eventually die but I don't think you'll be able to drop it on the spot even with a frontal head shot. You chances will improve if you clip it in the back of the head. No body or long distance shots on them woodchucks with air rifles please.

  5. Yes, very slow and messy though.

    Even a .22 R.F. (40Gr @ 1200 FPS), will not do a clean job unless

the bullet is very well placed.

    Your .22 Airgun, (14Gr. @ 900FPS), won't give you a clean kill

unless you hit the brain case, (about the size of a penny), and

hit it straight on, not at an angle.

A hit on the shoulder won't even penetrate the chest cavity of a

    large one.

    DON"T.

  6. Absolutely use a heavy hollow-point pellet for maximum knockdown power.
