I live in Southeast Michigan and planted a cantelope in the back of my property. I planted it around mid June. It's grown to a decent size and has several flowers on it, but no sign of fruit yet. What are the chances of it producing cantelope ??? Does it fruit in the fall ???

  1. Maybe you need some honey bees for pollination.

  2. I would say the chance of fruit is slim and none at this point.I also live in south east Mi. and I have been picking cantaloupe for two weeks.May bee you should have the soil checked out for the PH level. You may also just have the wrong plant for this area.Check out the MSU website for plants that grow in our state.
