Will my insurance rates go up?

If I report this accident will my insurance rates go up even though my car was parked at the time?

It really does depend on your individual policy.  Only your agent can tell you how your policy reacts to a situation like that.

I am happy to say that 80% of the policies I write would not go up in this type of claim and my clients are happy for it.

Sorry, I didnt look at the question.

In general, only your agent can answer.  It's going to depend on what state you are in, how much the caim is, and if you have any kind of accident forgiveness on your account.
