The Nationwide Series has a race at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. As for the Sprint Cup Series, I see it happening within the next ten years.

I think so for the Cup series, since Montreal was a hit for the Nationwide guys.

Oh absolutely.  I am thinking that they are considering it now...I know Nationwide is already there with a race.  Sprint will be probably in a year or two.

they ought to..... alot of times when im watchin trackside ill see the posterboards with canadian flags sayin something like canada loves tony or jr or gordon etc. I know canada doesnt have a huge nascar bases but I also know they still have a decent number of fans.

NASCAR came there last year & raced the Nationwide (was Busch) Series last year & will again this year.

Also NASCAR has purchased CASCAR and it has become the NASCAR Candian Tyre Series.

As far as when Sprint Cup is coming to Canada I'd say by 2010.

I have a picture of Dale Earnhardt and Harry Gant racing somewhere in Canada in the early 80's.  I can't remember the name of the track, but some Nascar drivers were up there. If Canada built a really nice oval track, I'm sure Nascar would really have to take a look at going up there.

As long as their is a track that meets the minimum standards, I don't see why not.

I think they have to with the amount of fans in Canada they would be silly not to explore the possibilities what about Alaska while we're at it.
