Will new PS3 have backwards compatability?

There will be a new 160gb ps3 model coming out in november heres link if u have doubts

and i wanted to know if you think it will have the emotion engine or the software emulator or not. i was going to buy the mgs4 bundle but i might ait for this

I Say that because

1. They will run into the same over cost problems

2.It has 2 usb ports, no memory card readers, (The specs of the 40gb)

You can get the 80GB MGS4 bundle. Try calling a few local electronics stores near you to see if they got it in stock.

I have the MGS4 bundle and played several PS1 and PS2 games on it. They work fine.

But you don't buy a PS3 to play PS2 games. You buy PS2 to play PS2 games.
