Will soap hurt my plants?

The kids have bubbles everywhere. They are stickign to my palm tree and other plants along with the walls and ceiling.

They will not hurt your plants at all, unless you literally pour the high concentrated full strength fluid on them directly.

Rest in peace that it will not hurt  your plants and you and the kids just keep having a great time.

You may get the scientific types on here telling you that it will def. hurt them but, In my opinion it can't hurt them at all

Actually it is good for your plants in the low concentration kids bubbles use.It disrupts the bugs that may feed on them.

probably not.

there are certain insect sprays made from what they call insecticidal soap (special kind) and oftentimes a bit of detergent is added to insect spray formulations to make the pesticide stick to the leaves.

that being said, poison is the dose so don't go around spraying detergent on your plants!  I think the tiny bit in a soap bubble is fine.

Not at all.  Actually the bubbles water is neither the kind of soap that you use for your laundry nor the real kind of ink that you are using to wright on it.  So, forget about scientific complications, the short answer is that it will not hurt your plants.  Thanks.

No, the soap won't hurt in that amount.  Just wash the tree off with a hose.

I water my front yard with grey water from my shower, which contains a lot of soap from my body wash.  The soap contains salts which is what most fertilizers are.  My body wash is biodegradable, too.  NONE of my plants have died in the last four years from my shower water.

Soap bubbles on the leaves is a good form of insecticide.  You can even rub mild soapy water on and under the leaves to control aphids.  You can even spray leaves with mild soapy water to control some pests.
