If you were in a car accident during your early teenage years? does this prevent you from growing?

  1. If your bones were not fused together from the doctor, then you will still grow to the height you were supposed to be.


  2. depends on the physical damage done but check with the doctor etc

  4. if you made a full recovery and your neuro / spinal system wasnt attacked then youve got nothing to worry about. your body is VERY resiliant, even weight lifting at a young age is proven against stunting your growth.

    unless every bone in your body was fractured around the outside, and continue to be, or if you have some genetic disorder, then your gonna grow just fine. growth plates are all around the outside of your bones, so long as your physically okay now then thats ALL that matters.

    inhibitors of growth factors are usuall genetic.. achondroplasia etc.

    =] drink lots of milk and do plenty of exercise.

    dont get fat.  

  5. It's very unlikely. Your growth is determined by your hormones and genetics.

  6. If you are seriously fractured, then it will prevent growth.
