I'm not sure what my default player is but Quick time and Real player etc work fine but when I try to watch anything on Windows Media Player there is no sound.

I have Vista if that makes any difference. Any advice appreciated

  1. hey. What the problem might be is your speakers are on mute. So in the bottom right hand corner there is a arrow pointing to the left click that and then you will see a speaker double click that and a sound thing will pop up. there will be a master box and and a small box go to the small box and if the mute thing has a check beside click that now your volume should be back.
