I have enabled the guest account on mi computer. However, every time I start mi computer it goes straight to the adminiistrator account rather than the logon screen. How do I make the logon screen come up first so that the chosen account can be used for that session?

  1. Control Panel

    User Accounts

Change the way users log on or off

Put a check in the box marked: "Use the Welcome screen"

    Click on Apply Options

  2. Id say you havent done it right then. If its going straight to the admin account without even going to a log in screen then it prob means it dont have to go to the log in screen because u only got one account active, try again and once you enable it again turn of the comp and see if it works then, if not then id say something is wrong with your comp or ur doing it all wrong, in that case id suggest getting some info off the web on how to do it.

  3. go into control panel - user accounts - look for "change the way users log in and out"

  4. You must set a password for your administrator, or account you use with administrative permissions so it will not auto-login.
