Windows defender install?

when i try to install windows defender on my xp pro i get this message: http://i37.tinypic.com/2iqn05j.jpg . how do i continue with the install? and i click retry it still doesnt work. i have tried re downloading it but it doesnt work.

You must have an angel on your shoulder because it saved you from installing a worthless program. Windows Defender couldn't defend your computer from a spitball attack. If you are looking for something to protect your computer either buy a real good Anti Virus suite or download free Anti Virus like AVAST OR AVIRA and stay away form AVG.

I use window defender and without any problems but of course it can already installed on my new computer. but I also use this spyware program that is real good and it get rid of and continue to protect the computer from (spyware, malware, adware, trojan horses, and some computer worms)  So give this spyware program a try ok, just click on the link to go to the site and download the Free version (http://www.superantispyware.com)  What happen to window defender during installation a file probably got corrupt as they sometime do and when a file get corrupt, it will put a halt during installing and sometime even freezing up the computer. You can uninstall what you think might have gotten installed (Check your Program List to see if it got installed)  and then you can reinstall it (but before downloading it will let you know how much space it will take up in ram)  and if you don't have enough ram the installation will not get completed. And you don't have to worry about 2 many spyware programs installed because you can have more than 1 spyware program installed on your system at the same time . So give superantispyware a try first just to see how you like it as you can always go back and add window defender later ok. Good Luck

why in the h**l would you want windows defender ?

wimdows defender is based on a software platform known as DCS

( stands for doesn't catch S___ )  this platform is full of security holes and is not recommended . there are plenty of other free software out there that puts defender to shame
