Windows xp home help?

See i upgraded my old computer not that old into vista and it runs perfectly

i still have the old xp home product key and on my other computer

i want xp home instead of 2003

will my key work with if i burn the same copy onto a disk?(same copy of xp home)

  1. Yes it should.  You can use a burned copy of Windows as long as you abide by the XP licensing agreement.  Using a burned copy is good idea as it keeps the "Real' one from getting scratched or damaged during the installation process.

    Just don't use the burned copy to install XP on more than one machine. As long as that copy of XP is used only on one computer you are fine.
