Wireless to Ethernet?

I have a laptop that gets wireless internet from my parents room. I wanted to know if there was any program that could re-route the wireless internet to the Ethernet port that way i could use it to get internet on my xbox

  1. You don't need a program to re-route wireless internet. As long as there's a signal, you can connect things to it.

    As for receiving the wireless signal, I don't believe you can on an original Xbox. As for a 360, you'd need to buy a wireless adapter specifically made for the 360.

    As for the internet, you can't surf the web on either system, if that's what you mean. The only thing you can do over the internet is Xbox Live.

  2. you can bridge the two connections:

    1. Goto Start -> Control Panel -> Network Connections

    2. Drag to select your Local Area Connection and Wireless Network Connections

    3. Right click on one of the connections (making sure both are still highlighted) and select "Bridge Connections".

    Follow the instructions to set up your Xbox on the internet (you can find these online I would've thought) and you should be away!
