Wisdom Teeth with small roots?

Question

I just had my wisdom teeth (4) removed yesterday in the morning and i was wondering how long it would be until i healed and eat good foods!? And i was wondering because i had such small roots on all four teeth would that make a difference in the healing process?

I don't think it'll be to long right? because i have hardly any pain (which im so thankful because im scarred to take the vicodin) and also is it normal for the bottom of you jaw to be heavy because of the swelling? i mean my mouth wont stay closed!

Yea I didnt have much pain after like a day too. I guess we got good doctors cuz I've heard some horror stories and was scared to get the surgery. Why are you scared to take the vicodin tho? The doc wants you to take it or he would have said just take some aspirin. And as far as solid foods...I cant remember how long I waited to eat them, whenever you think your ready I guess.

My friend got hers removed too, it might be a while (like a week or so).
