Is it epiphone or ibanez?

it 100% depends on what style of music you play and what sound you want to get.

I find Ibanez to be a much brighter sounding guitar. They also play faster.

Epiphone is basically more of a Gibson feel/sound. They're very heavy guitars so they sound more mellow.
