Woman haters?

why do some men become woman haters? is it because they cannot find a date with a girl or dont get s*x at all?

Reverse that for man haters. Does that stack up.

Same reason women become man haters. If you normally have bad experiences with the opposite s*x then you'll end up disliking them.

I've known both guys and girls who were treated badly (usually due to appearance or poor personality) and they aren't too fond of the opposite s*x.

Bad experiences with women would usually be the logical assumption why someone would hate women.

My father hated women. Actually, I don't think he hated us so much as mistrusted women. In his case, this stemmed from his mother being away for months in hospital when his baby brother was born. He felt abandoned and never got over it. (I think he was 2-3 years old.) And, yes, he had a lot of issues with his brother. He said they should just take the "nuisance" back to the nurses.

I think he was so worried that he would be dependent on a woman that he became very controlling of my mother. She got the upper hand because he was incredibly dependent on her for everything at the end of his life. (He had MS and she nursed him.)

The irony is that he was adamant that women should be subservient to men; but raised three very independent daughters. And, yes, he is the one who taught us to be independent. Oh, and his son turned out well too.

Most of the time, it comes from a poor relationship these men had with their mothers. They come to believe that all women are like that.

There are plenty of possible reasons for a man to hate women, and vice versa. It could be those you already listed. Or perhaps it could be they feel oppressed, or weaker than they think society wants them to be. Or maybe they are just expressing emotions of fear and transferring them to women so they have something to blame.

People are all different. Some men are strange, and so are some women. Reasons vary from person to person.

The same reason why some women become man haters.  They judge all by a few...it is called prejudice.
