Work placement in school for pgce?

Question

i am hoping to apply for my pgce and have a work placement which i arranged with a school. However the headmisstress asked what i would like to do on the placement.Thats where im stuck.What should i be doing on a work placement in order for it to improve my chances of attaining a place on the pgce course? HELP!

the biggest thing is to observe at this stage- observe teachers hwho can do a 5 min thing on examples of

- exlcleent classroom management strageteis

-  a set teachgin strategy

assessment

time management

ask the teacher to hook u up where possible for these  observations so that the teachers are prepared.
