what kind of things can you do in your home to lose some weight? i dont have money for so many gym memberships and i live in arizona so when its summer its unbareably hot. so what can i do in my home to lose an okay amount of weight? im looking to lose quite a good amount for im definatly over the scale (5' 11" and 220 pounds)[im 13].

  2. To lose weight, you need to eat less and exercise more.  These links have reliable information.

    The only equipment you need is dumbbells  or barbells.  You can get these used for next to nothing.  If you want to go the deluxe route, add a weight bench, which you can also get used for very little.  Check newspapers and penny-pincher ad bulletins to find the equipment.

    Also, think of your physical education and health teachers as resources to help you.

  3. You can spend all afternoon at a video store reviewing cardio workout tapes, choose one. Plus use your own body weight for lots of push-ups, from narrow to very wide hand placement.

  4. Do Tae Bo!  It is an exercise DVD that you can do in your home.  It is high cardio, fat blasting workouts!  They are a lot of fun too!  You will definitely lose weight if you do them regularly.  Remember, though, you need to eat healthy too along with exercise.  

    I have been doing Tae Bo for years and absolutely love it!  They have many different DVD's to choose from, so find one that you think you'll like.
