Workout plan...?

i played basketball while i was in school until i graduated ( 2007) now i am in college and i am trying to get back in shape for the try outs...what is a good work out ?...i already run, but i also need help with strength in my arms...and basketball drills to help improve my dribbling since i am probably not tall enough to play center in college (5'9 1/2)...\\

any ideas?

  1. I think that you should do an exersize that improves you legs, hands, and stomach.

    All you need is a medicine ball or a wieght ball.

    You stand in the center holding the ball in front of you. Your ellbows are bended holding the ball in front of you.

    Then you move only your upper half of your body moving to the left holding the medicine ball as directed. Bending you knees as you move to left as if you are sitting on a toilet but your legs are still in the center ibnly the upper half of the body moves. Then rising your knees to normal moving your upper half of your body to the center again.

    Once you are in the center. Lift the ball up as you would with a weight. Do the same with the right side. mOVING TO THE RIGHT AND DOING LIKE YOU DID WITH THE LEFT SIDE.

    I hoped you understoods me because it's a great work-out.


  2. play basketball again or go to a gym

  3. plyometrics

  4. go to the gym and definatly lift weights

  5. try crunches and jumping rope

  6. Try weights; it reeally works!Cruches, push-ups,....

    ummm...how 'bout sit-ups and i'll come up with something else later

  7. uh i say point guard and do pull-ups, push-ups,rush a lot(3miles a day)
