interesting that vic is the only south african in the starting team ...but yes, he is international quality for sure (not to mention my all time fav player!)

and i think that you just put together an astounding team...if only they could play together soon, so we can see some decent rugby...

oh, and if you are looking for a captain...mccaw is definitely your guy on that one!

Good selection. I would put Fourie du Preez in as the half back, and that is probably the only change I'd make and I would start Chris Jack instead of O'Connoll.

mealamu and woodcock should be in. New Zealand currently have the best front row players in the World and if you were being serious as having it as a team then it would also be those three who would play best together.

A couple of changes to the team would be Chris Jack starting ahead of Victor Matfield, Byron Kelleher at 9 ahead of Pichot,  Rodney So'oialo at 8 ahead of Denis Leamy. I also believe Josh Lewsey and Mark Cueto should be in that squad somewhere. They've had good seasons this year despite being in an awful England team.
