no i would not recommend it. you dont what could be in that like bacteria etc. etc. so please dont take it.

That isn't that long ago. Believe me it is safe, I have took hydrocodone older than that!!!  I promise you it won't hurt you, the only thing that it would do is not work (if it is to old).

It won't hurt you, but it could be ineffective.  Shelf life of meds is meant to protect pharmacies.  Codeine is typically a pain pill unlike a liquid which can accumulate bacteria.

ya my dad's a doctor and he thinks if its within a year that its cool to take (he always was using drugs passed an expiration) - but i would think 800 mg of motrin even like 2-3 times a day would be just as good !!!
