Question:

Would this be a natural paradox?

cats love fish but hate water. i am taking about house cats and yes i no i am basing this on a feline sereotype. but, say u no the most stereotypical house cat, would it not be paradoxical(dont no if thats a word) for him to try to catch fish and yet hate water?

  1. Well, cats don't like to get wet because then they don't retain body heat as well and they have to spend hours drying themselves off. But I don't think they mind just getting a paw wet. After all, house cats are known for kind of "playing with their food" and fish make the perfect snack (tasty, tasty fish).

    Whoops! - didn't really answer your question. Not really. I think it's just that they want the fish more than they dislike getting wet. It's a bit like humans making a small sacrifice or doing something you don't particularly like to obtain something you really want/like.
