Would this freak you out?

If you were a 16-year-old guy who hadn't seen a female friend (NOT a girlfriend) in a year and half, or had any contact with her at all, would it freak you out if she said she missed you?

I wouldn't suggest that the girl just out of nowhere call him up and be like 'OMGIMISSYOU'

She should just call him up and be all non-chalant.

"Hey, what's up, how're you? It's been a while! We never talk anymore or hangout, I miss you dude!"

Something like that. :]

So it's like you happened to flip to a page in a book you haven't read in a long time. There's nostalgia and a little...excitement because you've re-discovered it.

No, it wouldn't freak me out. It would make me more curious why she said it, that's all. I would ask myself questions like: Why? Was she thinking of me all this time? Should I re-establish contact with her? Maybe it would be nice to talk to her again. Simple, general concerns like that.

"Freak out" is a relative term. The situation is different for everyone. I think it really depends on your relationship with the girl before the no-contact phase. If there really wasn't a hint of anything that deep or personal (take note: for you, not necessarily for her), maybe that's the cause of you "freaking out".

And she's a girl. You never know what the implications are unless she tells you herself. She may mean it in a friendly way or she could have said that with real longing. It's really up to you to interpret it. Just try to avoid making assumptions and hasty conclusions.

no it wouldent freak me out. i would appreiciate that i am in her thoughts from time to time and that she still thinks of me as a freind
