Would this product work?

I am wanting to run my directv from one receiver to two tvs, which i am doing now, put everytime i watch it the one room i have to unplug it from the back of one tv and plug it into the back of the other. I have my receiver and big tv in the living room with one hdmi, and then a tv in the bedroom with another hdmi cable, that i am running into the living room. Would this product make it easier and how does it work>

That device would NOT work. This device allows you to connect 2 receivers to one TV, instead of 1 receiver to 2 TV's. You need one with 1 input, and 2 outputs. You were describing how to do it in your additional comments, and this device won't let you do that. Below is the device that you will need. Connect the attached cable to the receiver, and connect 2 other HDMI cables to go to the 2 TV's.

That is a switch and not a distribution amp. It will not work for your issue.

That will work but requires you to push a button to switch to the second tv. An HDMI splitter should also work and you won't need to switch it.

A couple of the reviews say this didn't pass audio with directv but it should and is probably worth a try
