Would this put you off writing?

When I'm writing, I hear loud piddles coming from the toilet. Would this put you off creative writing, where you literally have to imagine and make up a story?

i don't think i would notice actually...and by piddle, do you mean someone using the bathroom, or a faulty valve or something lol

If i were close enough to the bathroom that i could hear people peeing all the time, yes, that would put me off too : P

i see your point...

but try and convert the annoyance of the loud piddles coming from the toilet to maybe new ideas..

whenever you hear the sounds while you are writing - try and think of what places or locations might have similiar sounds ( waterfalls, an old hotel in south america, a prison ) - and then embed it into your story...
