  1. Would you be a better person if you were a woman?

  2. This is like asking "Would cucumbers be red if they were apples?"  If "women were men", then they wouldn't be women, so the question is pointless.

If you're asking "Are men better than women at math?", that depends.  I have certainly met some brilliant female mathematicians, and of course plenty of men who think "pi" is a round baked dessert.

This begs the question though of why the far, far majority of mathematicians and engineers are male.  It's certainly not sexism.  The majority of college students over all are female, and that includes plenty of women scored perfectly on the math part of their SATs.  Engineering schools are more than willing to get female students for a more balanced ratio.  But the bottom line is that so few women want to major in these fields to begin with.  As for why that's the case, I've heard a few good theories.

  3. A comprehensive study published just about a week or two ago showed that girls and boys have equal abilities in math.

  4. Whether you are a man or a woman, learning math is about practice, practice and more practice. Any man or woman can be good or better at math.

  5. Watch yourself..........women already run all the banks in America.......Or let say the majority of the employees at the banks are women. They are on the way to mathematical prowess....

    Does it really matter............?

  6. I assume you are really asking if men are better at math than women.

If you ever want to be president of Harvard, you better learn to say "no," regardless of what you think.

  7. no

  8. If me thunks 2+-9=4g huh, what i forgot doh
